KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific skills, team building, and social skills.

The KidSport morning session teaches sports, games, and other physical activities, both inside the CCRB and outside on Palmer Field, the tennis courts, basketball court and roller hockey court. Activities may include swimming (instructional and play), cooperative games, safety behavior, and team sports. The activities are age and developmentally appropriate, and are developed by experts in children’s physical education.

The KidSport afternoon session offers in-depth sport-specific training. One-week sessions focus on golf, tennis, basketball, with roller hockey joining the KidSport Afternoon lineup!

Camp Explorations is a morning and afternoon complement to KidSport offered through the University of Michigan's Exhibit Museum of Natural History. The interactive program expands kids’ knowledge of world history through experiments, crafts, and activities. Camp Explorations may be combined with KidSport to create a full day of physical activity and learning!

KidSport has also partnered with Outdoor Adventures to offer two one-week sessions of rock climibing, fun and fitness. This week is a skill-based rock climbing progression including beginning rock climbing and bouldering techniques for kids ages 8-10 and 11-12. All experience levels are welcome!
